Our Platform

Our Why-

  • To engage and build the political power of young people, even before they reach voting age.

  • To teach the youth of today how to engage in civics in their communities.

Step 2:

Have Advisors and 18 year old students take the 1 hour course to become Deputy Voter Registrars for your county.

Step 1:

Train students 16 years and older to be poll workers in your county.

  • students can miss up to 2 days of school each year to work the polls- it is state law!

  • students can work for money or service hours

Step 3:

Hold voter registration drives at your school and in your community.  As long as you have a Deputy Voter Registrar, your group can register citizens to vote.

We are Barbers Hill Student Council, and we are running to be your next TASC State Vice President! Vote for our school so we can Rock the Vote together by spreading civic engagement in our communities.
